We Offer the Following Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Services:
ADHD | Psychiatry | Psychotherapy | Addiction
Our personalized, multidisciplinary approach ensures that you receive the best comprehensive mental health and addiction care available. During your first visits to Hayden Health Group, you will receive a comprehensive mental health and addiction evaluation. After your initial evaluation, our treatment team will develop, in partnership with you, a comprehensive treatment plan, catered to help you achieve your individual treatment goals. We offer a wide array of mental health and addiction treatment services to fully serve your treatment needs.
What distinguishes Hayden Health Group is that our physicians are psychiatrists who are committed to providing comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment. We understand that most people who struggle with addiction also often struggle with other mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. Our treatment approach is to address and treat the underlying causes of addiction and the factors that can increase your risk for relapse including untreated psychiatric conditions. When indicated, our psychiatrists can prescribe psychiatric medications to assist in your treatment. Our goal is for you not only to achieve recovery, but for you to live your life to the fullest.
Individual therapists are available to help patients work through personal challenges in a one-on-one setting. Our expert clinicians, who have a wide range of training and experience, can provide individual therapy catered to your specific needs. Some treatment types used by our clinicians include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches. Clinicians help each patient by building a therapeutic alliance, increasing self-empowerment, and setting and reaching individual goals.
Group therapy is offered to help our patients in mental health and addiction recovery. Our group clinicians use integrative approaches to group therapy. Treatment modalities utilized in our groups include, but are not limited to, psychoeducation, CBT focused relapse prevention, DBT skills training, and supportive and expressive therapies. In addition, each of our groups have an interpersonal process component, which allows peers to support each other in recovery while advancing towards treatment goals.
Vivitrol is a medication used to treat alcohol and opiate use disorders. Vivitrol is a non-addictive medication. It works by preventing a “high” in opiate users, and by reducing euphoria and urges in those who abuse alcohol. Patients must be fully detoxed from opiates before starting the medication, however our prescribers can facilitate an outpatient detoxification in most cases. Vivitrol is administered by intramuscular injection once a month at our office.
Our doctors are certified to prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone®) for the treatment of opiate addiction. Patients treated with buprenorphine are treated in the context of a comprehensive drug addiction treatment program focused on addressing the underlying causes of addiction and helping patients achieve and sustain recovery. All patients receiving buprenorphine are required to attend weekly psychotherapy with our clinicians and are required to submit random urine drug screens.
